Ukrainian Fashion Week. Day 2

The 3rd day of Ukrainian Fashion Week ended up with 3 fashion shows: MARCHI, ARTEMKLIMCHUK and DS' by ALONOVA. to show some patriotic love I've decided to enrich my look with a national sport team uniform hat, combined with a vintage coat worn as a dress. the cherry on top was my beloved candy clutch by Maison Martin Margiela for H&M that finally got it's desereved fame)

2-й день Ukrainian Fashion Week ознаменовался для меня 3-я показами: MARCHI, ARTEMKLIMCHUK и DS' by ALONOVA. своему образу я решила придать немного патриотичности, надев "форменную" шапку олимпийской сборной в сочетании с винтажным пальто, надетым как платье, а "изюмом" конечно же стал мой любимый клатч-конфетка Maison Martin Margiela for H&M, который наконец-то выждал время своей заслуженной славы) 

Ukrainian Fashion Week opening party @ Buddha Bar

The 32nd Ukrainian Fashion Week traditionally started with a loud party at the tre chic Buddha Bar Kiev, that gathered all the fashion insiders and keen party goers. the limelight of the evening was a fall/winter 2013 fashion show by PRZHonskaya, who is getting better with every new collection, and a life perfomance by stylish band GORCHITZA. it was fun)

Первый показ начнется уже совсем скоро, а 32-й Ukrainian Fashion Week со вчерашнего вечера уже можно считать открытым. открывали его конечно же бурной вечеринкой, переполненной модными инсайдерами и просто столичными любителями тусовки в шикарном Buddha Bar. в программе вечера: показ осень-зима 2013 от PRZHonskaya, творчество которой явно прогрессирует с каждым сезоном, выступление украинского бэнда GORCHITZA и конечно же непринужденное общение за бокалом вина или чего покрепче. было весело) а теперь мне пора бежать на показы (подробней ознакомится с расписанием можно ЗДЕСЬ) в Мыстецькый Арсенал. до встречи!

Ukrainian Fashion Week. Spring/Summer 2012. day 3

The 3-rd day of Ukrainian Fashion Week turned out to be the most busy and tiering (perhaps because I finally wore heels, haha), I'm even afraid to count the length of distance that I had to overcome yesterday) but let's talk about everything in turns. so Saturday marathon started with combined show of 2 young designers Elena Burba and Lera Pechenaya .

3-й день Ukrainian Fashion Week выдался для меня самым насыщенным и утомительным (возможно потому, что я наконец-таки была на каблуках, хаха), даже боюсь подсчитать количество километров набеганых за вчера) но все в порядке очереди.итак, начался субботний марафон совмещенными показами молодых дизайнеров Elena BURBA и Lera PECHENAYA в рамках проекта Fresh Fashion.

Ukrainian Fashion Week. Spring/Summer 2012. day 2

I'm still desperately out of time, but I'm trying to share with you my impressions from what I experience, now I'm painting my nails and at the same time trying to come up with my outfit for today, it's only +2 outside and raining...well, the second day of Ukrainian fashion Week startde for me with Olena Dats show, where flowers, painted by ukrainian artist Elena Onufriv in her 'Aroma' series after she was vacationing at Crete island, were the main theme. the collection turned out to be very romantic and feminine, fabricated only using natural materials and macramé lace. 

По-прежнему ничего не успевая, я пытаюсь поделится с вами впечатлениями от увиденного, крашу ногти и в растерянности соображаю, что же сегодня надеть, ведь за окном +2 и моросит дождь, эх...второй жень Ukrainian Fashion Week начался для меня показом Olena Dats', основной тематикой которой, стали цветы, увиденные художницей Еленой Онуфрив на острове Крит, и которые в последствии были нею же запечатлены в серии картин "Арома". коллекция получилась очень романтической и женственной, выполненой исключительно из натуральных тканей, а также кружевных макраме.

UFW opening at the Olmeca Gold Fashion party

Though all official Ukrainian Fashion Week shows are beginning from today, ukrainian fashion marathon started yesterday night at the Olmeca Gold Fashion party, traditionally taking place for that matter. this time it was held in Byblos night club, which I visited for the first time. but despite the fact that I liked it, there was too many people for the place. especially it was unbelievably hard to move anywhere when models were strolling from the catwalk (unfortunately I've missed the show itself), cameramen, showmen and other stardom were occupying the whole space. luckily, this haven't prevent us from meeting some of the ukrainian designers, chatting to Iryna Danilevska and having some fun) and now, in few hours, the most interesting period will start,  so ready, steady, fashion...!!

Хоть официальные показы Ukrainian Fashion Week начинаются сегодня, стартовал украинский модный марафон уже вчера вечером, на вечеринке Olmeca Gold Fashion традиционно проводимой по этому поводу. местом проведения был избран ночной клуб Byblos, в котором я была впервые. но хоть он и пришелся мне по вкусу, людей для него собралось через чур много. особенно сложно было куда-либо пробратся после окончания показа, который я к сожалению пропустила, модели, операторы с камерами, ведущие и прочая звездная публика заполнили все проходимое пространство. правда в итоге, это не помешало нам познакомится с некоторыми украинскими дизайнерами, пообщатся с Ириной Данилевской и немного повесилится) а все самое интересное начнется уже через пару часов, на старт, внимание, мода...!!

Ukrainian Fashion Week. day 5

On the 5th day of UFW I've managed to come with a better cam, but still it didn't help much with a catwalk shooting. the look I chose to try was quite strict, black+leopard, I wore the dress by turkish young designers (that looks a bit like Lanvin to me), Fornarina knee-high wedges and River Island clutch.
