Ukrainian Fashion Week. Day 3

Probably my favourite day was the 3rd, the equator of Ukrainian Fashion Week. the 3 brilliant and at the same time different fashion shows I saw. speaking of my look of the day, there were different thoughts and interpretations that I've heard of it, still all I wanted for the outfit - to be total black and be a bit inspired by ANOUKI BICHOLA's fall-winter collection.

Пожалуй, самым ярким днем недели моды выдался экваторный, то есть 3-й. 3 очень крутых и кардинально разных показа я и посмотрела. что же касается моего look of the day, какие только отзывы  и интерпретации я о нем не услышала, а мне всего лишь захотелось надеть total black и немного вдохновилась осенне-зимней коллекцией ANOUKI BICHOLA.

Ukrainian Fashion Week fall-winter 2012/2013. day 1

Вот и добрался наконец-то модный марафон в украинскую столицу, вчера в стенах культурного комплекса Мистецький Арсенал, традиционным показом Лилии Пустовит, начался 30-й Ukrainian Fashion Week. так приятно снова с головой окунуться в ритм нон-стоп, в близи следить за происходящим в украинской моде и стараться посетить максимум интересных мероприятий. итак, приступим.

Ukrainian Fashion Week. Spring/Summer 2012. day 2

I'm still desperately out of time, but I'm trying to share with you my impressions from what I experience, now I'm painting my nails and at the same time trying to come up with my outfit for today, it's only +2 outside and raining...well, the second day of Ukrainian fashion Week startde for me with Olena Dats show, where flowers, painted by ukrainian artist Elena Onufriv in her 'Aroma' series after she was vacationing at Crete island, were the main theme. the collection turned out to be very romantic and feminine, fabricated only using natural materials and macramé lace. 

По-прежнему ничего не успевая, я пытаюсь поделится с вами впечатлениями от увиденного, крашу ногти и в растерянности соображаю, что же сегодня надеть, ведь за окном +2 и моросит дождь, эх...второй жень Ukrainian Fashion Week начался для меня показом Olena Dats', основной тематикой которой, стали цветы, увиденные художницей Еленой Онуфрив на острове Крит, и которые в последствии были нею же запечатлены в серии картин "Арома". коллекция получилась очень романтической и женственной, выполненой исключительно из натуральных тканей, а также кружевных макраме.

UFW second press conference: Ukrainians in Milano

Yesterday, the UNIAN information agency hosted a second Ukrainian Fashion Week press conference, which was even more interesting for me than the previous one. it was dedicated to Ukrainian designers who took part in the Milan Fashion Week, or to be more precise in Fresh Fashion from Kyiv project, that was held in Milano Moda Donna headquarter and international fashion exhibition WHITE. anna bublik, Olena Dats', Dominanta by Anastasia, Elena PRZONSKAYA, PODOLYAN and Liudmyla KOMARDINA where taking part in first, while ANISIMOV, BEVZA, Elena BURENINA, BOBKOVA, LUVI and vozianov presented presented black Ukrainian corner (contrasting to trademark white interior at the exhibition) at the second. looking at the speaking designers, it was obvious that they enjoyed the trip a lot, are now proud of their achievements and are full of great impressions and new energy. after chatting privately with Svetlana Bevza, I found out that she is planning to cooperate with London as well and also, that american market dictates it terms, so the collection presented there differs from the Ukrainian one. well, soon the time for Kiev to enjoy the works of national sartorialists will come and now, let's look at the photos.

Вчера в информационном агентстве УНИАН прошла вторая пресс-конференция Ukrainian Fashion Week, которая для меня была даже более интересной чем первая, посвященная участию украинских дизайнеров в Миланской Неделе Моды. а если быть точнее, презнтации проекта Fresh Fashion from Kyiv проходившей в штаб-квартире Milano Moda Donna, участниками которого стали anna bublik, Olena Dats', Dominanta by Anastasia, Elena PRZONSKAYA, PODOLYAN и Liudmyla KOMARDINA; а так же международной фэшн-выставке WHITE, где украинский стенд контрастного черного цвета (в то время как все выставочное пространство было традиционно выполнено в белом) представляли ANISIMOV, BEVZA, Elena BURENINA, BOBKOVA, LUVI и vozianov. рассказывая о своей поездке, было очевидно, что участники горды проделаной работой и полны приятных впечатлений и новых сил. пообщавшись лично со Светланой Бевзой, я выяснила что дизайнер планирует сотрудничество еще и с Лондоном, а так же то, что американский рынок диктует свои условия и ее коллекция для него отличается от отечественной. ну что ж, скоро придет и время Киева оценить работы украинских мастеров, а пока смотрим фотографии.
