Ukrainian Fashion Week. Summer 2013. Day 1

The first day of Ukrainian Fashion Week is done and the 'marathon' is hectic as ever. coming back to Mysteckiy Arsenal (a huge gallery building and a former factory) feels really great, almost like there was no half a year in between the seasons. the thing that doesn't make me happy is the weather, it's freaking cold and gloomy out there, though it doesn't stop me from wearing the looks I've created in my mind weeks ago. am I a fashion victim?))) ok, anyway, let's step to the shows.

Итак, первый день украинской недели моды успешно пройден, фэшн-марафон начат, очень приятно было вернутся в "Мистецький Арсенал", не радуют лишь погодные условия, как обычно едва ли понадеешься на тепло и солнце, будет холодно и дождливо. ну что ж, нам не привыкать. "лучки" я себе уже напридумывала и менять их не собираюсь, хаха) ну что ж, приступим к рассмотрению вчерашних показов.

UFW opening party at Byblos club

Yesterday evening, after comming back from Ukrainian Fashion Week opening party, I had a light feeling of deja vu, right half a year ago, the same party took place at the same club Byblos and everything seemed to stay unchanged - familiar faces, rushing journalists and video cameras, the 'best of' Kiev party goers strugling for the most extravagant outfits...the only difference was that I managed to see the fashion show by ukrainian designer Nadya Dzyak, whose fall/winter collection I would call as pretty calm and basic, there was nothing extra special, but at the same time, every girl would grab herself a piece.

Вчера вечером, вернувшись с вечеринки открытия Ukrainian Fashion Week, меня посетило легкое чувство дежавю, ведь еще пол года назад, в тоn же клуб Byblos, я отправилась по аналогичному поводу. и все атрибуты вокруг, казалось, остались прежними - знакомые лица, суета телекамер и фотоаппаратов, "цвет" столичной тусовки, сражающейся в эпатажности своих нарядов...единственным отличием стало то, что я таки попала на показ дизайнера Нади Дзяк, представлявшей свою зимнюю коллекцию, которую я бы охарактеризовала как достаточно спокойную и универсальную, в ней не было ничего экстраординарного, но каждая девушка присмотрела в ней что-то для себя.
