Praise McQueen with a good dress

The ' Savage beauty ' exhibition, celebrating late Alexander McQueen's extraordinary contributions to fashion, will take place at the Costume Institute, NY from May 4  to July 31. from his postgraduate collection of 1992 to his final runway presentation which took place after his death in February 2010. approximately one hundred examples will be on view, including signature designs. to start this happening, the majority of big names in fashion and show-business turned up to the Met Ball yesterday, hosted by François-Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek. speaking of dresses, it seemed like every second celebrity was wearing Stella McCartney! some chose to praise genius McQueen like Daphne Guiness, who was brave enough to step on the red carpet in one of the most extravagant pieces made by designer. here are the best outfits spotted that evening.
