Ukrainian Fashion Week. day 3 and 4

The major colours in collections of these days were black and different shades of grey. it was quite a contrast to two previous days were designers easily played with bright palette. probably a decent amount of people still consider autumn and winter to be the specificly 'dark' seasons of the year.
The biggest amount of looks from the collection that fitted to my liking were from Krasilnikova, loved the transparent long dresses, such a must-have right now



Very grey but really nice was the Pecherova man's collection



Transparency was almost among all of the runways, here Bevza, lobanova and BeKh



Although there were some 'sporty'and easy looks, here Zinaida lihachova, Nadya Dzyak and Olga Sobol



Zalevskiy was the most spoken-about showmaker as usual. the basic colours of the collection were black and electric blue, which made a good combination





The last transparant body-suit and the mask on the guys..emm...you know what, could perfectly fit in Lady Gaga's wardrobe, don't you think? ))

Fashion Blogger Party

The 3rd day of Ukrainian Fashion Week was meant to finish with a Fashion Bloggers Party, but in fact it would be suitable to call it Trash Hipster Party instead. the most popular question at the entrance was: 'Is it really the place?'. it imediately felt like there was some strict grange dress-code and nobody told you about that. the next thing which surprised us was being in the guest list as photographers, not the bloggers, so had to spend like 10 mins figuring that out. when we finally made our way to the party, we were speechless: the place was narrow and in the middle of repairs(at least it seemed like so)and filled with smoke, that it was almost imposible to take a quality pictures(tnanx to Oleg, he manged to do some). well, there were some positive things: great music and free drinks as promised. though, at midnight we felt the need to move somewere else. our next stop was Heaven club, after that we walked to Icon Bar. it was freezing, but we were lucky to be escorted by the girls on the Mini Cooper who kindly decided to stop by)) the three of us called it a night at Travkin's cosy(at 3 a.m it was for sure) office, when drinking starbucks coffee and listening music on iphone.

Третий день Ukrainian Fashion Week предполагал закончится Fashion Bloggers Party, но на деле более подходящим было бы это назвать вечеринкой трэш хипстеров. самым распространенным вопросом на входе был: "А мы туда попали?". В тот же миг появлялось ощущение что здесь существует строгий гранж дресс-код, о котором вас забыли предупредить. следующим сюрпризом для нас было оказаться в списке фотографов, а не блоггеров, так что пришлось потратить минут 10 что бы все это дело выяснить. когда мы наконец-то добрались до самой вечеринки, от неожиданности пропал дар речи: помещение не отличалось широким пространством и находилось в состоянии ремонта(по крайней мере было такое ощущение) и наполнено дымом до такой степени, что сделать приличные фотографии было практически невозможно(спасибо Олегу что умудрился сделать пару). Были в принципе и позитивные стороны: хорошая музыка и обещанная бесплатная выпивка. но все же, в полночь мы почувствовали что жаждем сменить обстановку и отправились в Heaven. после решили пешком пройтись до Icon Bar, было холодно, и добрые девочки на Mini Cooper решили нас подбросить)) для нас троих вечер закончился в уютном(он нам с Лизой таким показался в 3 утра) офисе у Травкина за питьем "старбаксного" кофе под музыку с "айфона".

Ukrainian Fashion Week. day 2

The most interesting collection to wath on the second day of UFW was for sure Anouki Bichola, a young designer duet from Georgia. bright colours, flared dresses and trousers, Alexander Macqueen inspired siluets and of cource those crazy hair



In finally, when all models were on stage, it looked like some mysterious gareden to me



Another young brand Obrani showed decent romantic black and nude transparent dresses



Although there were some other looks that caught my attention, like this simple and well tailored dresses by Kamenskaya Kononova



grunge chick by Olena Burenina, middle-east inspired by Igor Kikot and fur+beige combination by Litkovskaya



Tonight I'm going to a Fashion Blogger's Party that will take place at Mysteckiy Arsenal, so now start thinking about what I'm gonna wear, so excited!!

Ukrainian Fashion Week. day 1

So the ukrainian fashion craziness has officaly started yesterday in Kiev.
My top collections of the day were ones by Andre Tan, featuring FW 2011 massive trends such as maxi pleated skirts, multi-colourness and socks+hills




and Anisimov 9.5, with his best nerdy boys in town and amazing oxford shoes




Here are also some other looks by Nota Bene Karavay, Victoria Gres and Poustovit wich are worse of paying attention to:




The way models hold bags at the Karavay catwalk really reminds me of the way they did at Prada latest show. hmmm...a new trend?

Kiev Fashion Blogger

Finally we now can witness a rise among ukrainian bloggers and it's officialy!! here's the contest created by one of the best ukrainian magazines ТОП10 and "Неделя моды с Дарьей Шаповаловой" with a proud name Kiev Fashion Blogger.

Lazy Sunday, summer memories

Today for me was one of those days when you feel so calm and piecefull that all sort of memories come to your mind. it was really sunny outside and I remembered summer. so I decided to post some pictures of one of those days that I've never posted before. here I'm wearing my brand new Next heels (the highest I own), vintage DIYed Levis shorts, DIYed whitre T (inspired by Balmain ofcource) and some golden accessories.
